I try. I really, really try to keep my website updated. So if you haven't checked it out in a while please do so- there's lots of new work in the galleries.
I started out my career largely as an editorial cartoonist. As the work gravitated towards illustrations- more and more time was committed to developing as an illustrator.
Lately I've come to missing the cartooning quite a bit. So I've decided I'm going to create a blog or a few blogs dedicated to gag cartoons and perhaps a few strips with some characters I've created. I'll announce the new blogs on this page when I get it(possibly them) up and running.
As always- thanks!
Cheers,
Paul

May 2013 Popular Science Magazine Illustration
The
new Popular Science magazine has hit the newsstands. Here's the illo I
did about RFID tags that tell you what is in your fridge from your
mobile device.
April Popular Science
Popular Science Magazine Illustration about Medical Apps entitled "An App A Day: How personal trackers will change health care.". The article was written by Rebecca Boyle
March Popular Science Magazine Illustrations
This
months Popular Science Magazine illo about wearable computers like
Google's Glass pictured in this illo. The column is by Rebecca Boyle
about how wearable computers that can help folks meets goals such as
better health.
A
feature story in this months Popular Science is about people who obtain
serious brain injuries that release the "Genius Within". I was teamed
up with very talented 3D modelling artist Graham Murdoch for this
graphic. I love the detail Graham added to the Russian dolls. The
magazine piece includes a regular guy with a head injury- Beethoven,
Einstein, Edison and Picasso. A very different and fun assignment for
me.
